In my mind as I read this story, your voice was speaking each and every word, so filled with intention but comforting at the same time. Somehow I feel like you may not realize it yet, but there’s a children’s book or series of books, with accompanying music just waiting to make an appearance on your creative journey. Books where your words give life to all of nature's little creatures, along with illustrations to add to the wonder of it all.

I thoroughly enjoyed this story, and look forward hearing the beautiful melody that will complete the vision tucked inside of my head. Well done.

Oh, what a great idea Beth - haven't really thought much of writing a children's book - but that would be a fun project. Thanks so much for taking the time to eave a comment and for the kind support :) - M

Wow -your writings never cease to amaze me Mark!!! I Absolutely loved this piece! It reminds me of the innocents of youth. I'm SURE in my really younger days - I was the boy in this story.....as well age - gracefully I might say.....our outlooks on - and appreciation for the simplest things in life change. And, I certainly think it's for the better. Just wanna say I so enjoyed this piece - especially in the utter chaos of the world today. Thank YOU!
